Frequently Asked Questions

Sauna in the rain and cold is simply magical ! However on the rare occasion that we need to close our saunas due to the weather, we will aim to give you at least 24 hours notice, and will automatically receive a credit to be used at your next session – however if you prefer a refund in this instance just let us know.

We will hold any items left behind for 14 days.  After that time we will donate to charity or dispose of them accordingly.

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment for up to 24 hours before your appointment time.  This is easily done using the link at the very bottom of your confirmation email. Refunds can be requested if actioned within this timeframe, or credits can be issued.
If you choose to cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, no refund will be given and your account will not be credited – your session can however be given to a friend or family member, as long as they have completed the sauna safety questionnaire and we are notified of the change in the person attending beforehand.

Sauna can be an enjoyable experience for everyone and we would love for you to introduce sauna to your families. Children are very welcome to attend with their families, under complete parental responsibility, in a private sauna session – where the whole sauna is booked out for private use. Children under the age of 12, must be supervised at a ratio of one adults to one child at all times. Children aged 16 or under must never be left alone in the sauna.
It is very important that parents understand the need for them to continually observe their child, to assess how they are responding to the high temperatures, because children often need help to regulate. Please note that staff reserve the right to end the session early at any time if they feel that the health and safety of the child or anyone in attendance is compromised at any time. No refund will be given in this situation.

Simply head to our booking system, choose your date and time and make your booking. You simply pay online in advance of each booking session.

Or you can just turn up and if we have a slot free, you can pay by card or cash at the premises.  You do run the risk though if we are fully booked that you won’t be able to sauna

Each Steam and Salt session lasts for an hour. You can, of course book sessions back to back if you wish.

You need to bring 2 towels. One small towel to sit on and one for drying off between rounds or after your sauna. Water to keep hydrated, warm comfortable loose clothes to change into afterwards (there are no changing rooms).

Iso Sauna will have a maximum of 12 people, Pikku a maximum of 8

Yes of course! Each person needs their own individual booking.

Yes we would love for you to apply the water to the rocks and enjoy the ‘loyly’ (the evaporating soft steam that fills the sauna room, increasing the humidity and intensifying the heat).  We would ask you however to be respectful of others in the sauna space with you.  Always ask others if they are happy for you to do so, and remember that too much water thrown on the sauna rocks cools down the stove and then spoils the experience for everyone.

Please message us privately if you have any concerns and we can discuss this with you.

The sauna safety questionnaire will ask you to confirm that you do not have any medical conditions that would prevent you from using the saunas.  If in doubt, speak to your GP.

We require at least 24 hours notice for any changes to your appointment.

You can cancel for a full refund, or reschedule your appointment to another day, by scrolling to the very bottom of your appointment confirmation email and using the link you will find there.

Yes, you can purchase these online and are valid for 180 days from issue.

Please note – gift certificates not refundable.

There are cold showers outside along from Crusoe’s for cooling off between sauna rounds, and lidded boxes to store minimal clothes and personal items.  Please travel light!  We do not have changing rooms
